Vardey Recruitment are delighted to be working exclusively with an established, expanding and forward thinking Accountancy Practice in Dorchester, Dorset. They provide a wide range of accounting, tax and business services to a variety of clients, whether they are private individuals, entrepreneurs, investors, families, partnerships or corporate clients. They offer a hands-on advisory service to their clients and you will benefit from direct client contact and the chance to make a real contribution to the company’s affairs. You will gain more varied experience than most other firms!
The training programme:
On offer is a fully funded level 7 ACA Accountancy training programme suitable for an ambitious individual, who is looking to become a qualified ACA Chartered Accountant. You will be provided with full study support, including paid study leave, mentorship and coaching, to support you on your journey onto ACA, and becoming a qualified accountant. To give you an idea of time scale, with first time passes it takes approximately three years to complete.
From your first day, you will be exposed to a broad range of clients and companies, whilst working within an independent firm. Your mentors, having themselves been trained by one of the largest global accountancy consultancies, will give you the experience and the tools you need to be a success. No one day will be the same! Your job role will vary from accounts preparation, statutory accounts, tax planning/computations, bookkeeping and general office administration. You will also gain exposure to management accounting, forecasting and budgeting, as well as working with the Directors who are advising companies through M&A activity, corporate finance and support businesses with exit plans.
The person:
Will be able to display strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships. Strong analytical skills and be able to solve problems, whilst using their initiative. Committed to self-development and learning, with a strong academic background. You will be able to hit the ground running, someone who can study whilst balancing both work and learning within a busy job. Therefore, the ideal person will need to be hardworking and committed to becoming a fully qualified ACA accountant.
Requirements:
Preferable a Graduate – 2.1 or above in any degree discipline
A’ level passes A-C ideally in 3 subjects
Grade B or above in GCSE English and Maths
Or an AAT Qualified Accountant looking to embark on the ACA Qualification
Valid right to work in the UK
