HR Administrator - Job Filled

Vardey Recruitment is partnering with a well-established worthy charity Near Waterlooville in Hampshire who have created a new HR Administration job in HR. We are recruiting for a HR Administrator to work in the lovely team! The charity is very well established, extremely welcoming, and the HR Administrator will have the opportunity to learn and develop and gain exposure to the full employee life cycle.

HR job role:

The HR Administrator will provide administrative support to the HR team gaining exposure of the complete employee lifecycle.  The role is varied and a busy HR generalist job!

Key duties include:
  • Recruitment, advertise jobs and co-ordinate candidate applications and arranging interviews
  • Drafting contracts, offer letters, starters and leavers letters
  • Supporting the charity to find new ways to drive recruitment and expand reach to encourage applications
  • Full background screening for new starters- referencing, DBS checks, gaining documents, pre-employment health checks
  • On boarding new employees to include co-ordination of start dates & booking training
  • General HR administration and updating the employee database
  • Supporting the Payroll & Pension processes – collate the monthly payroll, co-ordinate annual leave requests
  • Working across the whole employee lifecycle- within a friendly and highly experienced HR team
  • Ad hoc HR project work
Who should apply?

  • Someone who is studying CIPD but looking for their first job in HR
  • Solution focused with good interpersonal skills.
  • Able to demonstrate excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise
  • Strong IT skills
  • Able to work on own initiative
  • Good verbal and written communication skills at all levels including active listening.
